On our way to Joshua Tree Park we turned off Interstate 40 and took the old Route 66.
Over the next 50 miles we saw 24 other cars on the road. What we did see is names on the side of the road. For miles and miles, kids have written their names, year of graduation, love signs and symbols in rocks. It was something we've never heard of or seen before -- old time graffiti??? Ed--were you there?
