Feet in the Pacific

We arrived in Newport Beach this morning. We took the car ferry to Balboa Island and watched the surfers.

Balboa Island is a residential island. We did not see any hotels or resorts. It is mostly houses and small condos. The residences are very close together and they have no yards. We saw lots of entrances decorated with bougainvillia and other flowering vines.

Tomorrow we go to Catalina Island.
