Hi there! We had a wonderful day driving the Desert View road to the Watchtower. This is a picture of us on the edge.....
This is a zoomed in picture of the Colorado River from the Watchtower.
On the right is a view that we both really liked.
Its part of the Navahoe Nation - called Temple Butte.
The Navahoe believed it was sacred, and that is easy to believe.
The light keeps changing around the butte and it casts very pretty shadows on the rest of the Canyon.
There was frost on our car this morning and the high today was only 60. But the wind has died down and the sun was bright and warm.
